The Brief

WannaBees, set up in 2014 by Pippa Miln and Lynne Rees, was created with the intention of facilitating the ‘playing for real’ approach for children, selling complete packs that allow children to pretend to be the profession of their choice. With this in mind, we met with Pippa and Lynne to discuss the creation of a strong, impactful, E-Commerce website, communicating quality, quirky and fun, reflective of WannaBees target market.

So started the design process… the team were excited to begin working on this fun and adventurous project!

The Solution

The PixelTree design team set upon designing a colourful, quirky site with vibrant imagery, designed to attract its target market and ensure parents and children alike are surrounded by the WannaBees brand at every step of their journey.

The E-Commerce store is integrated throughout the site ensuring customers can purchase products and view their basket quickly and easily when browsing. Page flip software was implemented to allow users to preview packs quickly and easily together with animated page turn which acts as an interactive and eye catching way of engaging the user. Stunning visuals reflect the target market and child orientated nature of WannaBees business.

The Outcome

A beautifully designed and engaging website! Pippa, Lynne and the team at PixelTree Media are highly delighted with the launch of this fun, colourful and quirky site. We believe this site looks great, but more importantly also focuses on the key user journeys and provides the flexibility to grow with WannaBees online strategy.
